WARNING regarding misleading commercial practices by International Fairs Directory!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Several companies operating online trade fair and exhibition catalog websites \u2014 including International Fairs Directory \u2014 are targeting exhibitors in the period leading up to trade shows. They request that exhibitors fill in forms to \u201cconfirm\u201d or \u201cupdate\u201d their data, claiming that this information will be published free of charge in their catalog. They also state that failing to validate the data will lead to its automatic deletion from their database, meaning exhibitors would no longer be reachable.<\/p>\n

Their approach involves sending an order form (via email or even by post) that appears to come from the trade fairs in which the companies typically participate. Sometimes, the email is preceded by a phone call requesting data verification for supposed inclusion in an online catalog.<\/p>\n

EUROEXPO Fairs, the official organizer of the trade fairs PACK SHOW, METAL SHOW & TIB, PRINT&SIGN, EXPO SHOP, BABY BOOM SHOW, TEXTILE TECHNOLOGY SHOW, CLEANING SHOW, EXPO PLAST, DIGITAL SIGNAGE SHOW, and CORPORATE GIFTS SHOW, states that it has absolutely no connection with these misleading commercial practices and warns exhibitors about the illicit activities of these websites. EUROEXPO Fairs has long been advising exhibitors who frequently contact us regarding such situations.<\/p>\n

Please warn all members of your company who receive emails (including those sent to the \u201cinfo@\u201d address) or postal mail not<\/strong> to fill in or return any form coming from International Fairs Directory.<\/p>\n

Verify everything before signing any document, as thousands of people and companies have been deceived by the operators of these online catalogs: International Fairs Directory, Expo-Guide, Fairguide<\/strong>.
Signing their form results in entering into a paid promotion contract (costs around \u20ac3,000) with these websites \u2014 a promotion that has no connection whatsoever with EUROEXPO Fairs exhibitions. Make sure to validate only legitimate forms received from the official organizers of the trade fairs and exhibitions in which you participate as an exhibitor.<\/p>\n
